MJR appointed as UK agents for Samsung Heavy Industries
Subsea Cable Plough Handling System
Design, build and commissioning of Allen Bradley PLC based subsea cable burial plough handling control systems for The Engineering Business Ltd. Including hardware & software design, system documentation, client factory acceptance testing and on-site commissioning.
These systems were subsequently installed on board three state-of-the-art Cable Laying and Repair vessels "Ile de Batz", 'Ile de Bréhat" & "Ile de Sein" delivered from Hyundai Mipo Dockyard in 2001 and owned and operated by Alda Marine, a special-purpose joint venture between Alcatel Submarine Networks and Louis Dreyfus Armateurs (SNC).
